So I got these for my AR10 with a Nikon 3×9 Prostaff and they work great with a nice bit of clearance for the scope and lenses caps that protect it. I would suggest you actually follow the installation steps and don’t rush on attaching it. Also, you might want to moderately tighten it so it wont slip during sighting then we you are 100% statisified with the results go back and make sure its secure enough. Read more

These rings were perfect for this scope on a Picatinny rail. Purchased round Weaver medium rings with the scope that said up to 40mm objective and they were no where near high enough. I got by mounting them onto a long 1 inch riser I had laying around until these xx-high rings would arrive,it worked but was too high. For this purchase, I skipped over high, and x-high, and got the xx-high and I’m very glad I did. I have about 4mm between the objective lens and the rail. If I’d have gone with x-high, which I agonized over biding my time waiting for Optics Planet to actually get them in the mail, I don’t think I could have gotten the lens caps back on. I used Loc-tite 243 and 15 in/lbs on the ring screws as they’re aluminum. The scope sits lower now than with the riser. As always, lap your scope rings, or pay someone to do so, particularly when they are two separate rings. Read more

Best rings for the money under $125, have them on all my rifles including a 450 BushMaster and a Remington 750 in 35 Whelen, never move , never lost zero in over 15 years. Two types avail. Picatinny and Weaver rail, might interchange , might not depending on base. Measure and choose correct base, Can’t go wrong, HIGHLY recommended ………… Read more

The rings I received were not double extra high rings. Plus the nuts that hold the rings on we’re too small for the bolts. Unable to use on my AR. TOO LOW. I’ll finds some nuts at a gunshop and use them on something else. Fast shipping though. Read more

These are the beefier COMPLETE ring set. Be careful when ordering the cheaper Weaver rings, they don’t come with the bolt and second portion of the picatinny clamp. This set has the larger square bolt to mate with a standard picatinny rail and holds solid no matter what the condition. Read more

You would think extra high no. Will not work with 50mm optics scope. 44mm and down probably and construction seems nice I will test more on a different project. actual height from rail to bottom of scope ring .620 inch and 16mm approximately. I had a little spacer in when i took my caliper to it. Read more

I am glad I chose the extra tall mounts for my Stag SA7. Scope clearance is sufficient and comfortably aligns with my eye. Read more
