is it made in china? What approximately eye alleviation?
is that this assembled in china? Vanguard is chinese language corporation?
i have not dealt with both, but from the net this is what i’m able to tell:
-diopter putting has been moved to the center (at the hinge) on the iv while on the ii the diopter setting is on the right eyepiece (less expensive layout.)
-the iv has prisms product of sk15 glass vs bak4 at the ii (an improve because of higher refractive index of sk15 over bak4, although bak4 has slightly better dispersion numbers)
-it sounds like the iv has special lens coatings. I base this off forefront’s description: “advanced multiguard® coatings for progressed mild transmission” it is up to you if that is worth it. I’m guessing no. At the similarity aspect:
-each have the identical field of view, 340′ at a thousand yds (6. 5*)
-each use hoya ed glass
-both are magnesium alloy
-both weigh approximately the equal (apparently the iv is a half of ounce heavier (16g.)
-each have at least a 25 year guarantee (at the ii they said lifetime, they have started to apply 25 years as of the iv.)
