The Pros: Comes nicely packaged. Neoprene sleeve and Trijicon Brilliant Aiming Solutions look through scope covers are included and I hadn’t noticed that prior. Separately they are 30 bucks…the sleeve was a nice touch and I have no idea how much it would be normally. The scope feels light and sturdy for its 22 oz. The 56 mm objective clears my picatinny rail with no problems in an AR platform using the Extra High 30mm mounts from Trijicon also available from Amazon. I zeroed it in 10 rounds and was putting mil spec ammo on steel at 500 meters with no issues. The green dot mil spec reticle performed as expected and the dot is nice and bright in low light. More importantly its not big, fuzzy or full of glare or starlight blocking game or targets. 100 percent US made, no baloney partly US made stuff wherein the glass is from overseas and assembled in the US…. The Cons: None…except Trijicon likes there stuff…rightly so…so nothing is cheap…but you get what you pay for. Read more

One of the crosshairs was out of place. Since deer season was open I used it “as is” but had very little light on the reticle and I missed what should have been an easy 50 yard late light shot (that’s what I bought it for) on a deer. Sent it back to the factory after season and they repaired it, but shipping, insurance, remounting, sighting in and ammo to do so cost me about $75. It seems to be ok now, but I won’t know until next season. Read more

5 stars for the glass, 1 for lack of flip up caps available. The provided lens covers work but who wants to deal with removing them prior to taking a shot? Shoot through is a joke with the supplied caps with the level of distortion. Would I buy again, simply put yes, great glass. Read more

Excellent optic for the deer hunter who wants a middle of the road decent optic.. not high end, but not low grade garbage.. glass is supremely clear and doesn’t have any haze or fog to the picture for me.. mounts perfect on my AR10 with the aero precision scope mount, just enough clearance with the hogue round forend that it will never be an issue with clearance when taking off the forend or gas tube Read more

Just bought and mounted this a few weeks ago. I was concerned about the size and weight but it fits perfectly on my T3 and the weight is fine. The glass is very clear and it has great eye relief as well. The illuminated green dot on the reticle seems ideal and I love the fact that no batteries are necessary. Just wish deer season started sooner. Second season and I still love this scope. In dark conditions the green dot is perfect. In bright conditions the fiber optics brighten the green dot so it works well then as well. This year I had only a few seconds to get a shot at a big buck. There was little time to think, I quickly placed the green dot and took the shot saving a second or two that could have made me miss the opportunity. Looking forward to seeing the mounted head soon. Great scope, with great glass. Wide range of magnification. For still or stand hunting it is perfect. It is a little heavy to carry all day. Optics are best in class and even better than scopes costing almost twice as much. I have 3 of these scopes. Read more

Arrived early. Couldn’t be more satisfied! Ultra clear optics, performance beyond what I experience in glass costing 4 times this much! The fiber optic illumination works better and than I could have ever hoped! Low light performance as good as my Swarovski Z8i! This is now the least expensive optic I own, but rival the best, and I’m now looking at more scopes from trijicon. This has turned the old theory of “the more expensive the optic, the better.” Read more

This is a phenomenal scope, esp.when you consider the price here at Amazon. The scope is solid, well built and the optics are Crystal clear. The mil dot cross hair is useful without cluttering up the scope. The Green dot is visible in dark and non obtrusive during daylight/bright sunlight. The 56MM objective gathers a lot of light in low light conditions. It is not as big and heavy as I expected. I have not mounted it yet so I cannot speak to how it holds zero but I suspect that I will have no issues. I have several Leupold VX-Rs mounted and wanted to try something different.I wanted a 56MM objective (VX-R largest is 50) and this Trijicon fits the bill. I light lit reticle and this is nice as there is no battery or on/off switch to mess around with(though the Leupold’s are very easy and switch off automatically) UPDATE: 3/24/15 I mounted the scope last week and zeroed it in at 100M on a 6.5×55.. The wind and elevation adjustments are right on. I used (high) Leupold QR rings on a Picitiny rail . The scopes holds zero perfectly, but I have yet to test the quick release rings zero repeatability. The sight picture on the rifle is amazing, no issues with eye relief and the glass quality is superb. The zoom ring is nice and tight but overly difficult to turn. I did notice the dot does not appear in the dim range but I assume this is because it went from a pitch black safe to a pitch black case to a dim range. No chance to absorb light and “charge” it up. I would highly recommend the Trijicon Accupoint. This is a fantastic scope in this price range. Read more
