Excellent fit for my Bergara HMR .308, works as advertised. However, a bit overpriced in my opinion. Read more

Overall I am extremely happy with this base. It is made very well and seems sturdy. I attached this base to my Remington 700 .308 and am very pleased. It had a flush finish and sat perfectly on top of my action. I used locktite to secure the screws that the base came with and torqued them down at 30 inch pounds using a wheeler torque wrench (awesome product). Because this base has a 20 MOA slant, I will now be able to get more adjustments out of my scope. I have always short changed on my rifle bases and have always regretted it. I have yet to get into the bases priced over $100 but I feel that this base is just as good in quality. I did plenty of research before buying this base and for the price it seemed like I could not go wrong. This base is a great investment for any build on a budget. * I matched this base up with Burris Xtreme Tactical Rings (medium) and a Vortex Diamondback HP 4x16x42. ** Base was shipped to my door on time and was safely packaged. A friend with a 270 was talked into a 6.5 Creedmore by a salesman as a easier kicking round. Never mind the 270 can be hand loaded and commercially generated recoil reducing rounds to be easier kicking and just as effective at any range as a 6.5 Creedmore. But the Salesman did not try to fit the scope (Leupold Freedom),warne tactical mounts & Weaver rings he sold. The Warne mount slots did not work with Weaver Rings and width of weaver rings would not allow for proper eye relief. All items were non returnable as they were ” special order”. What a load of BS. Any way i solved the issues with the Talley Mount,& Weaver Grand slam rings. The Talley mount is first class and allows the Remington type Long action used by Sauer on their rifles a good option for scope/eye relief. Read more

This item is well built and was a good fit on my rifle. I used this for a Weatherby Vanguard rifle in 30-06 (long action). It is the same dimensions as a Remington 700 and was a perfect fit. The 20 MOA designation means that there is a slight elevation to the base that will give you more available adjustment for long range shooting with your scope. Read more

Great product, it sits a little tall, I was able to use low rings on my 56mm objective scope and it sits nice and close to the barrel of a model 700 sa heavy BBL setup. Read more

Lined up really nice. Need to bed it to have it stress free when torqued down. I expected it do be that way though with the remington 700. Bought really high end mounts before and needed to bed them also. Solid and a very nice finish. Read more
