I just start to use them. I use this product for bird watching at the farm, to see any kind of animal or insect, plant at the top of trees. Its a ligthweight and super clear view. Now lets find out if the built quality is good. !! In 2 or 3 months i will write again to tell you about built quality. Today i am realy happy about how clear of the image is. ….well 1 year later i’ve been useing them to watch birds and animals in the mountain. I am think to buy another pair of this. Very clear, very good construction. I have never used a pair of binocular that cost more than $150. So i can not make a comparsion but, i am very pleaced whit the clarity and performace. Read more

These are wonderful binoculars! My husband received them for his birthday last year & loves them. When a crack developed in the center pivot, I contacted the Bushnell customer service line. They gave simple instructions, along with a mailing label, to send the glasses to the Missouri center. A few weeks later, a brand NEW Bushnell Trophy XLT arrived. I’m impressed with this long-standing excellent American company that stands behind their products. Read more

I’ve been a birder now going on 25 years and have constantly upgraded when I was able to afford to. I now own a pair of Kahls 8X42 which are excellent binoculars and cost $900.00+ dollars. I took a chance on the Bushnell bundle knowing that when I owned a pair way back when they worked well for hunting. I received them today and after the negative reviews I had to check them out being I purchased them for a gift. Well let me tell you I ran them through all the adjustments checking out the focus adjustment for diopter on the right eye which is firm which some complained about there is no way a light bump is going knock it out like it was stated. They provide excellent light transmission on a cloudy day and they are crisp and very clear. I bought these for my son and daughter in law so he could use them for hunting & she for birding. They do have a close focus of 8.2 feet and crisp & clear. I picked these up on a Chrismas daily deal and would recommend these binoculars to my friends even at there current selling price. All said if these would of been available 10 years ago when I purchased my Kahls I would of chosen the Trophy XLT 10X42. Read more

Purchased these Bushnell Trophy XLT binoculars for a special Alaskan trip that included lots of hiking, ocean fishing and general sightseeing. Worked great for the first couple of times and then the left eyepiece broke. Took VERY good care of these–always keeping the lens caps on and in the cloth bag which was then inside the travel pouch. Never would have expected a $150 set of binoculars to literally last about 5 outings. Very disappointed in the build quality and had MUCH higher expectations from Bushnell as I own multiple lesser expensive binoculars from them and have not had any issues. Expecting to hear back from Bushnell on a replacement pair as these broke right before a trip to Oregon and Washington in which I hoped to use them. These are supposed to be covered by their IRONCLAD Warranty so we’ll see how Bushnell responds and I’ll either update this review with more stars or less and then utilize other social media outlets to message the results. Spent 2 weeks in Yellowstone and Grand Teton parks and used these extensively. Amazing image clarity. We were picking out mountain goats on cliff faces that others were only finding with higher magnification spotting scopes. Outperformed all other binocs used by folks in our group. Extremely pleased with these. Can’t wait to use them for hunting this fall. Read more

I bought these binoculars because of all the high ratings, but they are at best, mediocre binoculars and I can’t recommend them. My old binoculars were Bausch & Lomb and they were wonderful, but they cost about the same as these binoculars back when I purchased them, and there is no comparison. Unfortunately my old ones were destroyed in the Paradise, California fire in late 2018. I suspect that to get the quality I had in the Bausch & Lomb’s, I’d have to pay $500 to $1,000. You get what you pay for, these Bushnell’s aren’t even worth $100. You will probably be disappointed if you buy them. Read more

Great binoculars particularly for the price. I am very impressed with how sharp and bright they are! The covers on the big end are loose, but if you put them on so the caps fall forward and are attached from the underside of the binoculars they are perfect because they fall out of the way when you are looking through the binoculars, but easily are snapped back into place when you put them away. Speaking of which, if you put them back in the case with the small end going in FIRST, then the covers on the big end stay on and in place. Read more

great for the price. very good glass and cant do much better in this price range. But…. Heavy and bulky, but I guess that’s where all that money goes. If you don’t need to shed lbs. and space on a hunt or whatnot, then these are great Read more
