This Barska CO11342 3-9X40mm Colorado Riflescope is a good quality entry level scope, suitable for most hunting rifles. We have used this model on Savage Axis .308 and 30-06 rifles and have been very pleased with the performance. The scope has very clear optics and good eye-relief, which are the two main features I look for in a scope. Highly Recommended! CFH Read more

I have had this scope on my .243 for a year now and it still holds zero just fine. I bought it as a scope for a rifle i really only shoot for fun and i have been very surprised by it. The glass is clean and clear. The eye relief is good. Overall a very decent scope for any price. If you need a cheap option, i would seriously consider this one. Read more

I know that, especially in the optics realm, you typically get “what you pay for”. But in the case of Barska – you really do get more. Now, don’t get me wrong, no-one will confuse a Barska scope for a Leupold scope. Then again – for less than 10% of the price, it certainly gets the job done. I purchased this to mount on the youth-sized .243 bolt action rifle my 8 year old daughter hunts with. I was able to quickly site this rifle in with repeatable groups. The next day, she made a shot at a little over 50 yards – perfect shot. What more could I ask for? So in summary – it isn’t a fancy scope. It doesn’t have the most “light gathering”, and it doesn’t have the prestige of a high $ scope. But it gets the job done. And for me and my budget – that will work. Thank you Barska! Read more

Have gone through 100 rounds on a 350 legend and so far so good right on point at 100 yards, is clear, quick and easy to aim since it has a good size of lenses no problem at all finding the targets It doesn’t comes with the scope mounting rings just letting you know so you are aware but the scope price by itself it’s still unbeatable Read more

Only used this for a couple of months, so I cannot speak to its longevity, but I am an authority on cheap scopes. If you need a variable power scope, try this one first. We used it on a CZ455 (22WMR) for a couple of months to experiment with different powers (because we had not shot 22WMR in a rifle before). It maintains zero across powers (eye relief and parallax change). We have now gone back to the Weaver K-4 (4X fixed) from Japan. Fit and finish of the Barska is good for the price, but a level or two below the Weaver (about on par with Simmons). Read more

Very solid, reliable scope. Mounted it on a .22M CZ512 and took about 50 shots without any deviation in its zero. Without any better way to tell if the scope is drifting, I typically look for migration of the shots. Low quality scopes will be pretty obvious as your shots suddenly hop an inch in some direction…the most insidious and lowest quality scopes may shift with every shot, which will have you scratching your head for a while wondering if your eyes need to be checked. This scope, however, kept its mark well enough to maintain ~1″ shot groupings from 100 yards through about 50 shots. Read more

Simply the best value scope out there. Holds zero well, easy to adjust. Ours was very close when sighting out of the box. Five clicks. AND it comes with nice lens caps. Good light and variable adjustment brings the target real close. Only drawback is the size…this is a big scope. Highly recommended…and at $24.00 a no brainer! Read more

Very happy with this scope. I usually shoot 100 yards with my 223, 5.56 AR-15 and I got the scope zeroed in with just one magazine, I was hitting bullseye in no time. After 200 rounds the scope still held zero. What I like about is that it’s about 1 inch, 1.5 inches shorter than most 3-9×40 scopes so it doesn’t take up too much room on my rail. It looks and feels like a $100-200 scope. Highly recommended to anyone shooting a heavy caliber. Read more
