I have rewritten my review again….I put this on my best rifle, a 22-284 wildcat variation. The scope is long, large, and I’d like to see heavier coating…though not bad. The power adjustment is very stiff….but others say it gets better over time. I boresighted at fifty, and was off right and high. I simply held the scope still while I turned the adjustments from the dot to the bullet hole, and in two shots I was dead on at 50. At 100 I shot and fine tuned at 100. Very clear, bright and crisp image. The reticle, even at 26 power if plenty fine for precise shooting, perfect for hunting woodchuckseason and smaller varmint, but not at fine as my benchrest cross hairs, which are too fine for most hunting conditions. I shot three shots in a cloverleaf ragged hole at 16x, then up the power to 26x, and the next three went into the same ragged grouping. This rifle is a Hart barreled custom chambered rig…it is no joke, and I own other scopes that cost a whole lot more…they are certainly more prestigious at the range, but in use they offer nothing over this scope. I am a varmint hunter, and shoot for tight groups at the range. I don’t claim this scope to be a best choice for precision competition shooting in regard to reticle subtensions and turret to reticle matching and such, but I am sure that with my 80 grain Berger VLD’s out of my Hart 1 in 8 twist barrel, with this scope, a woodchuck at 500 yards is in grave danger. let me begin by saying that i really wanted too believe this was a good value because i cant afford a 1000 dollar scope with these features.i shot one box of shells thru this scope before it started jumping all over the paper at which point it became completly unpredictable in click adjustments.i am shooting a new rem cdl 7mm mag with new Leopold rings so all other probs have been eliminated. So with a glimmer of faith left i returned for another scope it came with broken lens cover and zeroed rite in until the 11th shot the zero droped and went haywire. I would like too see more reviews of this scope if you get one or two lol that is defective please let us know i wish someone would have givvn me a warning. Read more

Plain and simple, If you have never seen the hair on a gnats behind, crank this scope to 26x and focus. You will soon see what one looks like. Excellent scope and for a great price. I went to a bunch of stores in my area and all were selling really “top end” expencive scopes. When i sasw the price initially i was thinking i was taking a gamble. Once i got it and played around with the scope a bit i found that i had struck some sort of gold. Good job Braska! Read more

Horrible scope. Send it back to Barska twice snd even had one of their represenitives tell me it was a bad scope. focus ring comes undone and it rattles apart. They told me after the second time of paying $25.00 warrenty fee and the $35.00 it costs to ship it back that I can put it on eBay or they can give me the $60.00 Amazon paid for it. It’s bulls***. Don’t waste your money…… Read more
